Every morning I try to drink a Glowing Green Smoothie. This drink has really rocked my world, helping me to easily eat much more fruits and vegetables than I ever have before. I definitely feel slimmer and healthier, I have more energy and it really does make you glow.
I say I “try” to drink one every morning because there are some days when I just want cereal and a coffee, but I make myself drink a smoothie if I have one ready in the fridge.

To make the GGS (Glowing Green Smoothie) add 1.5 cup water with celery, romaine, kale and spinach. Sometimes I add parsley and cilantro too. Blend together really well in a Vitamix blender (the vitamix is for ballers, but it’s a great investment and something I use everyday).
Next add a pear, an apple, a banana and the juice of half a lemon, and blend well.
VIOLA, you’re done. This recipe usually makes me 2 smoothies so I drink one when I make it and put one in the fridge to have the next morning.
If you wash your greens ahead of time and put them into bags in the freezer it makes it much quicker to make your smoothies in the morning.
You can also pre-squeeze your lemons so that all you have to do is grab a cube and throw it in the blender and you’re good to go! And you can freeze your bananas so that you always have one for a smoothie and you don’t have to worry about them going bad.
